Cambium Networks Point to Point outdoor solutions

Cambium Networks, an international reference company for the supply of broadband wireless equipment, has a wide range of products to satisfy various communication needs.

The line of devices indicated with the acronym PTP represents the ideal connection solution between two wireless access points and defines products capable of establishing connection between two points that are at a variable distance from each other.

PTP means Point-to-Point, that is, Point-Point connection. This type of solution can be used in case it is necessary to connect two radio repeaters, overcome physical obstacles by air without digging or to connect two plants for sharing corporate LAN. The solutions and application fields are varied and change according to the customer’s needs.

Point-to-Point devices can also be used in the most hostile working environments or in adverse weather conditions thanks to the ATEX certification and the IP66-67 degree of protection.

 
The series is composed of:
 

• PTP 850E: outdoor broadband radio device with throughput of up to 10 Mbps;
• PTP 820 Series: outdoor broadband radio devices with different configurations, up to 2 Gbps;
• PTP 450b: outdoor broadband radio device with throughput of up to 300 Mbps;
• PTP 670: outdoor broadband radio device with throughput of up to 450 Mbps;
• PTP 550: broadband radio device with throughput of up to 1.36 Gbps;
• PTP 450i: outdoor broadband radio device with throughput of over 250 Mbps;
• PTP 700: broadband radio device for mission critical communications with throughput of up to 450Mbps;
• PTP 450 900 MHz: broadband radio device with throughput of up to 130 Mbps.
